Stamp Ink Paper #136 - Cabin Feverrrrrrrrrrr!

Winter! It really sucks!!

Let me just start by saying that - and, for anyone who doesn't know this already... I live in Canada where we have (no exaggerating!) approximately 6 months of it.
Snow and cold can happen anytime from October to into April and it has even been
known to SNOW IN MAY! (ask me about my May long weekend camping
adventure wearing wool socks and throwing rocks out on to the ice that was still on the lake)

So - for me - the Stamp Ink Paper challenge this week  means I WANNA SEE SOMETHING GREEN!  I want grass.... and flowers... and... anything but white stuff and  minus 30 temps for weeks at a time! Some girls like a beach and a margerita - I prefer a cold beer and a boat on a lake with a fishing rod in my hand. I am counting the days!
Cabin Fever is a REAL.THING. when you live here. Why do you think I make cards?
It's either that or go shack-wacky from the cold!

Here's what I created to inspire you!

I used a lovely stamp from Unity called New Beginnings & Growth, and a Stampin Up set that is well-loved in my house, called Touches of Texture! I decided to jazz-up those little pots, so I stamped and paper-iced them just to change things up a bit! The image was colored with my Zigs, and I added a few Nuvo drops to finish things up!

I can't wait to see what you do with this challenge this week!

Be sure to check out all of the amazing Design Team creations! We have such a great team - with so many different styles... so I know the designs this week will inspire you to join our challenge!

Now I am off to.. (you guessed it!) shovel more snow!

Love, Peace n' Ink
