Thanks so much for stopping in!
The ...Hi Kathleen! Thanks so much for stopping in!
The green "splatter" panel I created for this card was made using a product called "Colorbursts". You can find more info about the product itself here:http://www.kensworldinprogress.com
Ken has some wonderful tutorials on all the different ways you can use the colorbursts.
For this specific card, I slightly moistened my watercolour paper, and added small amts of Chartreuse, Tourquiose, and Lime Green. I carefully blotted up excess water, but added as necessary to achieve the shades I liked. They react SO beautifully with the water - :) The beauty of it is there are NO mistakes - they simply combine to make beautiful, colorful backgrounds and I try to save every scrap of paper - you never know when you might need it ;).
Good luck with beginning to play with these Colorbursts - you will be hooked!
AmberAmberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15762860729355142296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3254247404214747526.post-64143689854073051422017-03-12T09:41:57.123-06:002017-03-12T09:41:57.123-06:00I have not attempted something like this and do no...I have not attempted something like this and do not even know where to begin. Do you have instructions or a tutorial on how to make the green splatter effect? I'd love to learn this technique.
