An Inky Long Weekend!

Hello everyone!

Today was the end to a Long Weekend here in my neck of the woods - and while normally that would make me sad, I began holidays on Friday! I am so grateful for a whole week of to relax, and unwind!

We kicked off this weekend with my son coming for a visit - and the time is always too short! But he promised me he will be back soon. :)

It gave me time to get up into my studio today - and admittedly, I have not been up there for quite some time. There were days I would walk in and look around and sadly, my mojo was gone.
Poof.
Nothing.

But today I made up for it.! I created some wonderful designs that I was happy with - and when I noticed the Paper Players Challenge this week - I knew I wanted to play along and create something to get my mojo back on course!

And here is my design!

I started to play with a piece of white CS and my Tim Holtz distress inks, creating that sweet little layer that resembled wood. I stamped a CTMH image I just love and combined with a  wonderful sentiment from Verve. I watercolored using just a bit of color from my Zigs and an Aqua Painter.
Thanks for stopping by!
