Paper Craft Crew Challenge - Mardi Gras!
Happy Wednesday!
It's Paper Craft Crew challenge time again! This week - we are celebrating Mardi Gras up in here!
That's right! It's a Mardi Gras challenge!
This was a real challenge for me this week, I will admit. After all...
I AM a Canuck ;)
I actually had to research a bit to get the whole story on what Mardi Gras is really about. Sounds wild!
So with limited knowledge, and sadly, no beads in hand... I had to come up with something inventive to go with our theme this week!
Details:
Stamp: (Unity) Masquerade
(SU) Labeller Alphabet
Ink: Versamark, (SU) Gumball Green
Paper: (SU) Basic Black, Gold Glitter, Perfect Plum, Whisper White
Gold embossing powder
Black embossing folder
Tools: Cuttlebug embossing folder
I had to get creative with a sentiment.. as nothing I had seemed to fit.
The Labeller Alphabet is PERFECT for times like these. I definitely
enjoyed the 2-tone embossing on the mask - I was needing to add some SHINE!
A few jazzy sequins and splashes of FSJ Gold Silk and I was celebrating this design!
I am not going to lie - this challenge IS a head scratcher if you've never been to the Big Party.
But... I wanna see what you can do! Our Design Team worked hard on these awesome
designs for you this week - so be sure to give them props when you visit their blogs,
and link up your creations here!
Thanks for stopping by!
Love, Peace n' Ink
