Scrap n' Stamp Hop Into Spring Blog Hop
Happy Saturday !
We are finally back with another Blog Hop for the Scrap n' Stamp team!
This month we had a fabulous die to play with from Dee's Distinctively dies!
Here is my design!
This lovely lilac die was perfect for a wedding card - the upcoming day happens to be an outdoor wedding... and spring is a little late this year! Could it be possible the lilacs will JUST be waking up and blooming then? Here's hoping!
I used Stampin Up's cardstock in Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry and cut 2 pieces at an angle to create that heart shape. They fit together perfectly! I popped up the lighter, smaller flowers with Stampin Dimensionals and added a few gems for some sparkle. That top layer was then adhered to the Basic Black cardstock base, and the interior of the card sports a layer of watercolor paper that was lightly painted using my Aqua Painter and the Rich Razzleberry ink. The sentiment I used is from Stampin Up as well - the stamp set is called A Dozen Thoughts! It has such a wonderful variety of go-to stamps!
Thanks for stopping by!

Very pretty wedding card
ReplyDeleteI like how the front of the card base is cropped so you can see the beautiful inner liner. I haven't seen that done before - I am picking up some great new techniques with this blog hop!
