Bloom Where You Are Planted - May 2025 Friends of Unity Blog Hop

 

Hello and welcome, friends!

It is my favorite day of the month - time for another Friends of Unity Blog Hop! 

May is full of spring-time vibes and this month our cue is "Bloom where you're planted" - there are so many ways to run with this for inspo, right? This month I had so many ideas I wanted to run with for this Blog Hop, but I ran out of time and I just have one project to share this month. 

I decided to pair up two beautiful Unity stamps and create this card for you - the lilies are a favorite of mine and this image is from the Tender Thoughts stamp set. I watercolored this (attempting a Stargazer lily colour-scheme) I need alot of practice on my watercoloring and I have given myself a personal challenge to make at least 1 card a month using watercolor. Hopefully I stick to it. 

The sentiments are quite somber in the stamp set so I opted to choose a sentiment instead from Gentle Hours, then stamped a few smaller images from that set as well.
