CYCI #145

Welcome!

January is racing by, thank goodness! By this time in the winter I am usually "Shack Wacky", a term I use for explaining how craziness sets in from being cooped up after weeks of -20 to -30 degree temperatures. To sum it up: I live where the air hurts my face! We still have February ahead of us before things begin to look like they are warming up - so thank goodness for this hobby of mine! I retreat upstairs to my little studio and create, create, create!

This week over at Can You Case It, we are playing around with another awesome color combo for our challenge! Check out my card!

 Can You Case It

Isn't this color combo awesome?
I simply heat embossed using white embossing powder and a stencil from SU on to some watercoloring paper. I needed a bit of "Silver" so I had some silver foil paper left from another project that was used along the edge - I hate to waste!
Next, I just dipped my trusty aqua painters into my Blackberry Bliss ink, and my Dapper Denim for a splash of color!

I heat embossed a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's set called Handlettered Encouragement on vellum, using some silver embossing powder from SU!
A little silver cord and some sequins added the finishing touch before I adhered my panel to my Blackberry Bliss cardstock base!

Check out my fellow Design Team Member's projects and join in the fun - your card can be added to the challenge regardless if you have a blog! Just add your crafty creation via FB, Pinterest or whatever you use - be sure to set the privacy settings to Public so we can see your crafty awesomeness!

Thanks for stopping by!
