Mojo Monday #486

I am still riding my "high" of being a "Unity Girl" last week - and today it was still continuing, as I received my new bundle of goodies from Unity that I just HAD to play with!
It's long after dark here, so my apologies for the picture quality - I couldn't wait until morning to show you this stamp!
I used a new kit from Unity Stamps, called Scattered Pieces. I just love it!
I decided to play along with the Mojo Monday sketch this week!

Growing In Unity - Day 5

Well, Friday is here. I will not be able to say "TGIF" because it is my last day as a GIU girl and I am bummed out! This week has been SO much fun!

Sadly, here is my Friday project - but I will be making more projects all the time with Unity - so be sure to check in from time to time to see more Unity goodness!
If you are a regular follower of the Unity{show & tell} page on Facebook, Kelli and the gang always feature amazing challenges to get our creative juices flowing - I can't tell you how I love seeing all that inspiration every week, the creativity is phenomenal! There is still time this week to join the challenge - so if you haven't - you need to check it out!
I created this project with that challenge inspiration in mind!  I used those neutral colors and my new Layers of Life kit from Feb 2017 called Looking Up for that sentiment!  You need it ----> get it here! This is a monthly subscription - I haven't been disappointed yet!
I also used a blea…

Growing In Unity - Day 4

Welcome!  My week as a Growing In Unity Girl has almost come to an end! I am sad - it has been so much fun, and I feel so lucky - the creativity of the little network of artists who share the love is just incredible! You all inspire me every day!
Today I have a project for you that was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest - I wish I could give credit where credit is due, because in the world of Pinterest - you can get lost for days finding inspiration - and the project was gorgeous!
Here's my salute to that, using Unity stamps!

I love neutrals paired with just a pop of subtle color! This card was clean, and simple and not complicated - just the way I like it! And my Unity sets were perfect!  I used a favourite called Bohemian Backgrounds that you can find here! :) I also used one of the new releases from Gina K Designs and Unity (such a winning pair!) called Only You! That sentiment says it all! You need it! Get it here! I heat embossed and used my Zigs to add that soft blue …

Growing In Unity - Day 2

Hi everyone!
I can't wait to show you my 2nd project as a Growing in Unity Girl!

For this project, wanted COLOR! I went with my  Colorbursts for a fun and funky back ground for a sentiment from Unity's Let Your Wishes Fly set!
You need this set ------> Get it Here!
It is one of the stamp sets from Unity that is a go-to when I create cards for some of my favourite people!  I also used paper from Simple Stories "We Are Family" Collection, and added a bit of vellum for this sweet card for a sweet friend!
I still cannot believe I get to show you some of my little creations this week - someone needs to pinch me! I hope you leave a comment below just to let me know you dropped in - because at the end of the week I will be randomly drawing for two lucky people to receive grab bags of Unity goodness! Be sure to stop by each day this week! Love, Peace n Ink Amber xo

Paper Players #332/Casology #236

I have a fun, clean and simple creation I whipped up this morning! Check it out!

I finally got some Verve Stamps in my happy mail and had to play with them! The sentiment is from the set Let It Be! I used a Tim Holtz stencil and some TH Distress Inks for the pretty blue background. I salvaged a small piece of PL card for contrast and played with a splash of  FSJ Silks in Sour Lemon. A bit of washi tape and this card was complete!
I played along with a couple of my favourite challenges!

Growing In Unity - Day 1

Hello, and welcome! This is REALLY exciting!
Today is really a "bucket list" day for me - I am blessed to be this week's Growing In Unity Girl for Unity Stamps
I will share a little about myself for those of you who are new to my little corner of the Blog world (as I call this - Amberland ha!)   I hail from Saskatchewan Canada - and live in a small farming community of just 2500! I am a mom to 2 awesome kids, grandma to 1 amazing little boy and wife to an extremely hardworking Fireman/Public Works Labourer. I have been stamping and creating inky awesomeness for almost 10 years - and I love using all kinds of products, but Unity has had my heart from almost the 1st time I bought a stamp magazine!
For Day 1,  I will share a project I created with THE stamp that started it all for me!

I had just got into the whole stamping craze - I was hooked from the beginning. I needed it all.  Then one spring day in 2010,  I bought the Stamp It cards magazine.  And I fell in LOVE.

It really couldn't get any easier! I really hope you play along with us - this sketch is SO versatile! Go make pretty things! Love, Peace n' Ink Amber xo

Love Ewe!

Happy Sunday! I decided to get inky today!
I created this super-cute clean and simple card using just a few things! I sponged a wee bit of So Saffron ink from SU! on my Cs base, and then inked up one of my FAVE stamps from Unity called Love Ewe! I just added a scrap of SU's Smoky Slate CS and off-set it behind the sentiment and added some clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh to finish this quick little love note.
Today I am playing along with 2 great challenges that were PERFECT for what I had in mind for a special Valentine!

Savvy 7 Blog Hop - All You Need Is Love (and maybe coffee!)

Welcome back, everyone!
It's time for another Blog Hop from the Savvy 7!
This month, it's ALL about LOVE! 💕
And right now, more than ever, doesn't the world need more of that?!

February/Valentines Day can be a pretty big downer of a time for all the singles out there - and I have ALOT of single friends! They literally DREAD this month - when "LOVE" is literally bombarding them from every angle! For a person who doesn't have a significant other - I think they just want to wake up Feb 15th and shout "HooRAY!" haha I made this little project for a friend and she LOVES coffee - so there is where the LOVE comes in!  I was so excited when my Simon Says Stamp February Card kit came in - just in time! I used Simon Says Stamp's Coffee and Tea stamp set, as well as their "Coffee Love" craft die, some awesome Doodlebug paper from the Cream & Sugar Collection, and some super-fun little "Latte Love" epoxy sprinkles and a bit of li…
