Stamp Ink Paper #135 - Love Your Wood

This is a PSA - if you can't laugh - you *probably* should pass this blog post by today!
I am playing along with the Stamp Ink Paper team again today - and this week it is all about LOVE!
I really decided to have fun with this one - there are so many Valentine card concepts from romantic to funny and everything in between. If you are easily offended, you may not find the humour in my design this week.
Ready? (can't say I didn't warn you) 😉

This fun & flirty card was created using a set from Unity's  "After Dark" Collection - it's called, uhhh... Woodie. 🙈 The After Dark collection is so top secret on Unity's page, you actually have to enter a separate area and agree that you are old enough to view some of the snarky stamps they have to bring a smile! If you want to view.. go here

I used paper from Stampin' Up! and my fun little sequins are from  Kat Scrappiness and Neat & Tangled. That super-cute heart fibre is from my stash of ribbo…

Inspired By... Guest Designer - Kitchen Love!

Hey there! Welcome!
I am super excited to be guest designer  for Laurel Seabrook's Inspired By challenge this week!  Laurel always inspires me personally with her amazing take on anything paper! She rocks!
I created this inspiration for you using the cue from Laurel! Check it out!!

I used a fun little stamp set from TPC Studio, called Coffee Cafe - even the Soft Sky  cardstock base is lightly stamped with a tiny coffee bean image that is the SWEETEST! The super cute coffee cup is a digi from Verve Stamps - from the Love From Me Collection!
I was inspired by the colors in this challenge - this combo is one of my FAVES and  when I think "kitchen"... I need my fix... and caffeine it is! My coffee pot is  always on, and tea is also ready to go when a friend drops by!  I thought this would be a perfect card to give to someone I am really  fond of - maybe even with a sweet treat made in my kitchen?
I want to see your crafty creations linked to the challenge! So.. how does …

Stamp Ink Paper #132- Cake Walk!

Happy Tuesday!
Today I am joining the Stamp Ink Paper team for another challenge! This one is going to be a piece of cake! (HA!)

I was trying to wrap my head around how I was going to pull off this challenge - as I am still waiting for my new, FUN stuff to arrive from Stampin Up.  It is taking FOREVER! (well, it feels like it!) So, I had to take to the internet and hit Pinterest for some inspiration, and I came up with a fun design I CASE'd!

I used one simple stamp from Unity's Happy Snail Mail kit, and the fussy-cut little candle I added is from Stampin' Up!'s Big News set. I hit my stash of dies from Reverse Confetti and Lil Inkers to create that cake - and my paper choices are from my scrap bin - as it it is overflowing and I hate to waste! I used a Blackberry Bliss cardstock base - I just LOVE purple and it is still one of my favourite SU colors ever (sadly, retired).  I added a few simple sequins to finish it off. Piece of cake - RIGHT?

Be sure to play along with…

Friends of Unity Blog Hop - January 2018

Welcome - and Happy 2018!!

The Friends of Unity are Blog Hopping again!

Did you arrive here from Crystal's Blog? If not... you  can go back and check it out here!
I will also have a list of all the Blog Hop participants the end of my post. But for now - check out what I designed for the Hop this month! Our theme is (who would've guessed) 😆...Winter.

I just ADORE this little penguin! The Unity set is called "Mittens in Winter"
and I colored this little fella with my Prismas on the Kraft paper, then added a we bit of ink sponged around the edge of the layer. It is one of my faves from Unity - and I hope you like it too!

We have some super cute projects again this month for you - so be sure to check everyone's inky goodness out - you may even spot our giveaway for the month on one of the blogs!

Next... you are on to Eileen's Blog  --- check it out here!
If you prefer to do your own thing and "hop around" - be my guest! 😁

Paper Craft Crew Challenge #274

Welcome! And Happy 2018!
This is my 1st blog post of the New Year - and it's super exciting, because it is my  debut post as a new Design Team member for the Paper Craft Crew!! I can't wait to play along with all of you!  If you are visiting my Blog for the 1st time - here is a little bit of "ME" Trivia!
I live in Southeastern Saskatchewan, Canada, in a small town - farming is the main industry here.... but my hardworking hubby works for the Town and is a Firefighter, and I work in an accounting office as a Bookkeeper! I am a mom to 2 pretty awesome adult kids and a little boy has my heart and calls me Grandma. I am pretty blessed :)  I have been consumed with this stamping and inky addiction for close to 10 years now. I do  have some fave companies to use - but I love it all!

Here is what I designed for you this week with our awesome sketch!

This sketch had so much opportunity to change things up!  Here are the details:
