Scrap n' Stamp Hop Into Spring Blog Hop

Happy Saturday !
We are finally back with another Blog Hop for the Scrap n' Stamp team! This month we had a fabulous die to play with from Dee's Distinctively dies! Here is my design!

This lovely lilac die was perfect for a wedding card - the upcoming day happens to be an outdoor wedding... and spring is a little late this year! Could it be possible the lilacs will JUST be waking up and blooming then? Here's hoping! I used Stampin Up's cardstock in Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry and cut 2 pieces at an angle to create that heart shape. They fit together perfectly! I popped up the lighter, smaller flowers with Stampin Dimensionals and added a few gems for some sparkle. That top layer was then adhered to the Basic Black cardstock base, and the interior of the card sports a layer of watercolor paper that was lightly painted using my Aqua Painter and the Rich Razzleberry ink. The sentiment I  used is from Stampin Up as well - the stamp set is called A Dozen Thoughts!…

Inspired By - Sweet Treats!

The weekend is soooooo close... I can taste it! 😎
This week, the Inspired By challenge has something SWEET to challenge you!
Our cue card will make you mouth water!

While I  adore cake and sweets just as much as the next person... the warmer weather we have finally had made me think of something refreshingly sweet - so it was a very simple watercolor watermelon to tempt your taste buds!

I love my Aqua Painter from Stampin' Up! I used Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush to create that "image" and set it with my heat tool.  My "seeds" were cut using one of the tiny dies from the Swirly Scribbles set from SU! It was easy to layer it over  Basic Black CS  and another layer of lighter Flirty Flamingo!

I had a perfect sentiment in mind for this card - I just had a sweet stamp set from Sugar Pea Design  happen to show up in the mail (hmmm... imagine that??) ;) It is called "SWEETEN". It sure sweetened up this design, don't  you think?!

I used my Bann…

Paper Craft Crew #291 - Sketch

Hi everyone!
Today I am over at the Paper Craft Crew - and we have an awesome sketch for you to play with!
Check out what I designed to inspire you to play along!

This paper packet from Stampin Up is going to blow you away! It is called "Share What You Love" - and it is PACKED with patterns that you will be choosing over and over for your projects!  This month you have an opportunity to order it before the NEW Annual Catalog launches June 1st! I layered it with our fabulous cardstock in Basic Black and Whisper White. Next, I cut a stitched square using our thinlits and stamped the lovely image from Love What You Do... the Crumb Cake  watercolor stamp was stamped off once so it was slightly muted. I like how it turned out! My sentiment is from another SU favourite called Happiest of Days. It was perfect for this card!
Check out how amazing all of the Design Team members projects are this week - we LOVE to inspire you! And play along! Link up to our challenge and share your c…

Inspired By - Unicorn Dreams

Hi beautiful people! It is time for another Inspired By challenge! This week, it's all about Unicorn Dreams!

I had double the fun with this inspiration - I had to make TWO cards ;)
That's right - these are for some double trouble - TWINS! They have just turned 1 and have kept their mama hopping - so the celebration this upcoming week will be so much fun!
But back to my design ;)  I used a fun bundle from Stampin Up  called Magical Day -  and added a wee bit of color to the mane and hair using my Zigs! I even added a Wink of Stella for some sparkle. The Tree Builder punch was perfect for doing a little double-duty and creating those sparkly clouds. The cloud "layer" was cut using the Detailed Floral thinlit die (also from SU!)  Our wonderful sponsor this week is SRM stickers - I LOVE THEM! - so you will see I added some of those. MAGICAL! ;)
These simple little cards will be on their way to G & H right away - I hope this left you with some inspiration this week t…

Stamp Ink Paper #148- Farmhouse Chic

Friends, it feels like it has been FOREVER!
I have to admit, this spring has kicked my ass! (Pardon my language, but gosh darn it, it is TRUTH)
I feel  like I am just waking up, and I am finally seeing the light of day - with the busy work season just wrapping up, I have had no time to do anything but work - and it has taken a dent out of me... personally.... and it's time to get back on track! I have missed my crafty time... I have missed my husband and family.... and finally, I have missed ME. So it is time to focus on the things that matter.
This week, we have a theme for you over at Stamp Ink Paper challenges... that REALLY stumped us all... it really WAS a challenge. What does "Farmhouse Chic" mean? I had to use good ol' Google.  The cue card is meant to inspire - and this super quick and easy card was what I designed!

This card was super quick and easy, using Woodgrain paper from Stampin Up! and a little help from the Spring Market Collection from Carta Bella…
