Friends of Unity Blog Hop - Sketch Inspiration
Happy Saturday, crafty friends!! It is time for another Friends of Unity Blog Hop! My friends and I have a sketch to inspire you this month. Many times, having a sketch to begin with is like having a map - it is welcome for giving you something to start with for layers and layout of a card. This is a great sketch, and I have a couple designs to show you! Here is my first card :) I tried to stick as close to the sketch as possible for this card, and I used quite a few fabulous Unity goodies! I stamped a release from last year's In The Light collection, called Serenity Circle: Where Hope Blooms Again . I used both the drooping coneflower and the blooming coneflower, and colored them using alcohol markers. I fussy-cut them, but Unity also has digital cut-files for you to use with this image.
