Friends of Unity Blog Hop - Anything But a Card
Hi crafty friends!
I feel like it's been forever!
Summer cruised by and we are seeing cooler temps and fall weather. That means more crafty time inside - yay!
This month, my friends and I are sharing inspo that is anything BUT a card - and there are so many fun projects to make with your stamps! This Hop will show you tons of ideas - let's get to it and I will show you what I designed!
I had a hard time taking photos of this little mini album I created, but it turned out great!
My oldest nephew graduated this past summer (because of the horrible forest fire situation and evacuations from our community - Grad was delayed.) in fact, it almost didn't happen, but thanks to the groups of parents and teachers, the kids got their celebration once it was safe for us to come home.
This mini album captured a few shots of his big day, and some pics I took of him as well. I included the following Unity stamps:
Cover: You Did Good
The album is created from one sheet of card stock and measures 4x4 - I cut and scored one piece, attaching it accordion-style to maximize space for photos and sentiments. I even added a bit of ephemera here and there.
Next up... some tags for Christmas!
I always have the best of intentions to be "Christmas ready" but sometimes, life gets in the way, right?
This year I got a jump on Christmas tags for gifts - some special people on the nice list will be getting these.
I inked up one of Unity's newer releases called Holiday Flock Talk - its is the perfect mix of funny and festive!
The 3 unique tags I created were inked up and colored with Copics - but really, you can use any coloring medium from markers to pencil crayons.
Two of the tags were made with the Make a Tag die set and I layered fun coordinating colored paper and added ribbon and some little bells.
I decided to use our lovely Scallops and Arches nesting dies for one of the tags as well! They turned out super cute and really took no time at all.
Our Blog Hop has so many beautiful creations for you this month - my friends and I would love to inspire you so be sure to make a stop on each Blog and see what my friends were up to!
Next up is Toni - check out her beautiful project HERE!
