CYCI #138 - Shake It - Shaker Card Challenge AND Giveaway!
Happy Sunday all!
The chill is in the air - we have days of +20 followed by days of +4 and nights dipping below the zero mark already! September is my most favourite month.... it signals a huge collective "sigh" in the earth as she waits to sleep. All the dramatic color inspires me!
This week over on the Can You Case It blog we have a shaker card challenge! Believe it or not, this girl had only attempted a shaker once before this! And I will not show you how THAT turned out! (note: I am *still* vacuuming up glitter out of the carpet in the studio!)
So this WAS a definite challenge for me! Thank goodness for Eva and her awesome "how-to" video... life saver, girl!
I spotted some inspiration on Pinterest for this card, and the fall colors had me hooked!
After the awesome hints from Eva on the easiest ways to make a shaker I went to work. And while a square is much easier (mental note for next time) I am ALWAYS up for a challenge!
