Inspired By - Rainy Day Coziness
April is a fickle month - the weather is so unpredictable in my part of the country. There have been years when rains were already beginning but ... this week we are still suffering through winter temperatures. It was -26C the other morning! When will this madness end??
Our cue card inspires WARMTH... those moody blues are perfect for creating something calming and soothing - an encouragement card was the way to go!
I chose a thoughtful little Stampin up bundle this week called Weather Together... the stamp set
and the dies CAN be purchased separately - which is great if you don't think you would need one or the other - but WHO WOULDN'T want both?
some scrap paper that was still on my craft table to make this sweet little umbrella! My Whisper White cardstock base was run through my Big Shot with an embossing folder I picked up when I first started stamping and creating. (IT is form Cuttlebug! Some supplies I just cannot get - I use this baby alot!)
I find my go-to tool lately is my Aqua Painter.
I use it to make those watery-looking backgrounds... it is as simple as choosing an ink color and laying it on the watercolor paper! So simple and beautiful!
The stitched oval is also from SU! I love them - and I hope when the new catty comes out in a couple months (fingers crossed) they introduce some new stitched shapes (a rectangle set would be SWEET!) ;)
This cue card is so fitting - coziness from these freezing temperatures is a must! The rains have not even BEGUN to show up here! But they better hurry! How does this inspire you?? Is it the blues.... ?
The cozy bed?? Be sure to play along and link up your design to our challenge!
Thanks for stopping by!

I love this. The umbrella is so cute. My daughter loves umbrellas but loves to break them too. Ha! Great card!
ReplyDeleteI think umbrellas are cool too - Thanks for visiting Jeanie :)
