Friends of Unity Blog Hop - My Favorite Things

Hello everyone!!

It's been FOREVER, but I finally got a chance to blog hop again with the Friends of Unity!

This month, we have a wonderful collection of designs for you - a collection of our favorite things!

Bobbie Sue has always inspired me with her creativity... (have you seen her faves this month? Go back and check it out here! ) I love absolutely everything she creates. And I am so happy to be your next stop along our hop this month!

I will admit - Unity has so many of my favorite stamps showing off alot of my favorite things.... How can I even choose? ;) But honestly.... Christmas has my heart... its the best time of the year. And while maybe this Christmas may look a bit different for some of us, I still love the excitement of the season, and joy the holiday brings.

Here's my first design :)

When I saw the image stamp I used for this card - it was a must-have! This beautiful stamp by Angie Blom is called Here At Last... and it's meant to be a "new arrival" stamp - but what's better than the biggest arrival - the reason for the season? That sweet swaddled babe is paired with a sentiment from another Christmas set called Believe in the Magic.

My next card is a fun little design that is meant to give throughout the winter months - and where I live... well, winter seems to last forever! (5 months of it and sometimes more!) This itty bitty is called Worth the Fight and I lightly colored him with my Zigs and added just a touch with my aqua painter. This little guy sparkles with a touch of Wink of Stella. The funny sentiment called Freezin My Snowballs is gets a giggle from me, and I know my friend will giggle too when she opens her mail and sees it :)

I hope you check out all of the stops along the hop - we have enjoyed showing you all of our favorites!

Be sure to leave some love below before you head over to Dawn Fields' Blog - she is the next stop along the hop!

Love, Peace n Ink

  1. Here At Last is a beautiful image and the humor in your second card is always enjoyable to see. Your coloring is quite good and I like your idea on the vellum on the first card. I have not seen that before and am also looking for different ways to use it on my cards. Well done!

  4. Beautiful!! I love Christmas, too. Although we don't get any snow here in So. Florida. I love how the star clip adds the perfect touch to the first card. And the jingle bells with the adorable snowman. Both are gorgeous.

  23. Okay, you are an enabler LOL. I now have to add that anybody to my wishlist is it is adorable and your card is just as cute if not cuter. I think this would be a fun card for me to mass-produce especially since I make and donate cards to military overseas, children's hospitals and Alzheimer's centers this year 700 cards. Thank you for inspiring. I may have to attempt a duplicate of your creation I hope I can do it justice. Stay safe.
