Friends of Unity Blog Hop - Coffee, Tea or Cocoa September 2022
Hi everyone!
I am so happy to be back again to hop along with the Friends of Unity! Did you hop over here via Eileen's blog? If not - check it out! you can go back to see what she created here!
This month I have to tell you - I am currently away visiting my daughter and her family on the West Coast and after a very long year this gramma finally gets to hug her grandson....so this post is short and sweet... I have more hugs to get before my vaycay is over :(
Before I left I had time to play along with our cue - this month's inspiration is Coffee, Tea or Cocoa!
Unity is filled to the brim with fantastic stamps featuring these tasty bevvies. I designed 2 cards before I left - here's card # 1.
This kraft card features Coffee Queen from Unity and I played a little with some Copic coloring and a fave technique of mine , using "fake alcohol ink". I simply used my Copics in browns/neutrals and set down color on vellum, and then dropped rubbing alcohol on it and watched the magic unfold.
It's. That . Simple.
This card really is a beauty when you see it up close. I am still perfecting coloring on kraft - I love the effect.
Up next a super fun card using some great patterned paper and a sketch by Crystal from awhile ago. I inked up an itty bitty called Cup of Tea - and a wee bit of coloring is all it took for this design.
Thanks so much for popping in! Next up is Kim!
Thanks for stopping by!
Peace, Love n Ink
